Evergreen’s Coffee and Bake Shop is home to the famous Bagel Bomb. If you have never had one, you must stop in for a handcrafted coffee and a store-made Bagel Bomb in the flavor of your choice. Bagel Bombs begin as homemade bagel dough topped with cream cheese and many different sweet and savory fillings. This gets bundled into what looks like a rustic, crusty, round dinner roll, but it is much more. The slightly crispy and chewy outer shell, filled with a soft bagel and then tasty fillings, is delicious. It is no surprise to the local community that these are becoming a statewide sensation. Come to the shop that started the Bagel Bomb magic.

Two Easy Entrances

Evergreens has two entrances for your convenience. One is on the main downtown sidewalk along M24 with on-street parking. The other entrance is in the back, facing a larger parking lot. Both entrances are easy to access and welcome you in with delicious smells. If you enter from the back entrance, head down the straight hallway and make sure to stop at the chalkboard wall and leave your mark!

Rustic Beautiful Decor

Evergreen’s decor is simple, rustic, and inviting. Some of the local school student’s artwork is displayed on the walls and offers a small window into the delight of childhood. The young artist’s creations bring a smile to faces and hearts.

Variety of Sitting Arrangements

There are many seating options, from cozy to practical, for intimate conversation and for larger groups. The stools across the bar tables in the front windows offer a chance to snack, sip, and people-watch. From this vantage point, you can see Red Knapp’s and Modern Marketplace right across the street. There is something relaxing about watching the world go by while you enjoy a warm drink and a tasty baked good.

Bagle Bombs at Evergreen’s

On our last visit, we had a tag-a-long and ordered two peppermint mochas and a white chocolate chai. All three were delicious. We also ordered 3 Bagel Bombs: Apple Cinnamon, Bacon Jalapeno, and Bacon Cheddar Everything. We enjoyed all three of them. The cheerful staff is happy to warm them up if you want them above room temperature. Either way, you won’t be disappointed.
