CFE Roasters is a beautiful white house at the north end of downtown Oxford, Michigan. Let them delight you with carefully crafted coffee drinks into the nighttime hours. We had been looking for a coffee shop open in the evenings for quite some time. CFE Roasters provides a cozy spot for all those who enjoy an after-dinner coffee.

Late Night Coffee Shop? Yes, please!

CFE Roasters is open late six days per week and opens early every day. They have tasty treats to pair with your coffee drinks. Some are made in-house, and others are brought in from a different Michigan bakery. They do roast their own coffee but at a different location.

Beautiful Building

CFE Roasters is styled beautifully inside and out. The large wrap-around porch with chairs and tables and large bay windows invites you to stop in and sit for coffee and conversation. Those same large windows let in beautiful daylight for the seating areas inside the door. The light paint and furnishings, along with the beautiful accents, give an airy, open feel to the space. Green plants add a sense of the outdoors with a clean and vibrant message of peace and comfort.

Beautiful Interior

The interior design, the building, and the owners have given CFE Roasters a sense of community mingled with intimacy and openness that is unique and wonderful. Somehow, the whole ensemble conveys a sense of belonging. Different seating areas with slightly different styles provide the perfect spots for your needs.

Delightful Coffee and Treats

We visited CFE Roasters in the evening. The lighting on the outside of the building was beckoning us in. Inside, it was bright but not jarring. We ordered our drinks and a treat. He had the affogato and really enjoyed it. The owner recommended The CFE when I asked. The CFE is a citrus latte that is not sweet and has an interesting and enjoyable blend of slightly bitter coffee with orange zest. I also had a chocolate croissant that was flaky with delicious chocolate filling inside and drizzle on top. The pairing of the slightly bitter latte and the slightly sweet croissant was perfect.
